I corresponded with Ashok since February 2016 for an upcoming trip in October of this year.
He was very prompt with replies and of invaluable assistance in helping me tailor the trip to my itinerary and the local driving conditions. He met my group of three at the airport and thoughtfully had some rupees to advance to us to make the beginning of our trip go smoothly. Our driver, Pramod, was prompt, courteous, and always looking out for our comfort when choosing a rest stop or restaurant. He remained calm in some of the most trying driving situations. We enjoyed our conversations with both him and Ashok and learned much about India that is not offered in the guidebooks. I would heartily recommend Ashok's Taxi Tours to anyone and hope to avail myself again of his services in the next year or so. |
