Perfectly arranged!

It started with an extremely quick, informative and transparent mail contact. Within 2 hours and 4 emails everything was arranged and fixed. No payment in advance or credit card details needed - simply trust.

Our driver picked us up at midnight in Delhi and arranged a very good hotel for us although it was that late.

We didn't book any hotels in advance but followed the recommendations our drivers made (based on the price level we fixed in advance of the trip). Each of these hotels was at least ok, some remarkable good.

First 2 days we spent with driver Pramod, who drove us very safely through the daily chaos on Indias streets. We followed his suggestions for Delhi sightseeing and first day in Agra and were absolutely satisfied. We suggest to improve Pramods English since sometimes he was a little bit hard to understand.
We think this would be a good investment because he is a very attentive man and took always care of us.

Mr. Ashok, who we met at our first day in Delhi, had informed us that our driver would change in Agra for the rest of the trip - that's why we met Rishi and the whole trip improved even more.

Rishi is a remarkable driver. Careful, attentive, well informed, funny... He made our whole trip interesting, informative and always took good care of us (and always had an extra water bottle at hand). We enjoyed the whole trip with him and always felt safe. Now we know, why he is so often recommended at Tripadvisor - everyone who has ever shared our experience knows what we're talking about...

This was our first time in India and to be honest, we were a little afraid that this amazing but also extremely different country would be hard to travel trough.

But with this company "India for Beginners" is an experience that we can highly recommend.

Von Anfang an wurden wir kompetent beraten bis unsere Route endgültig stand.

Wir wurden wie vereinbart am Flughafen abgeholt, obwohl wir eine Stunde Verspätung hatten. Unser Fahrer Charly hat uns immer sicher durch den teilweise chaotischen Verkehr gefahren und das Auto war stets sauber, da es jeden Morgen von innen und außen geputzt wurde. Unsere Fahrer konnte uns immer all unsere Fragen beantworten und hatte viele Tipps und Infos für uns.

Wer eine Reise nach Nordindien plant, sollte unbedingt bei Ashok einen Fahrer buchen, denn alle Versprechen (siehe Homepage) wurden 100% eingehalten.

Vielen Dank Ashok und Charly für die erlebnisreiche Zeit und wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

My daughter and I were satisfied beyond our best expectations with "Ashok Taxi Tours" and would highly recommend this service to other tourists traveling to India. The car was simple but comfortable and the air conditioning never failed us.

After a 9 day trip in July from Dehli to Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur and finally Jaisalmer, we would highly recommend Gurmeet as chauffeur. As 2 female tourists traveling on our own, Gurmeet immediately reassured us by his responsible attitude. Despite our long drives, his good humor was constant and he was always concerned about our comfort and well being. We were privileged to have him take interest in our selection of destinations as well as show us additional highlights which afforded us the opportunity to appreciate local favorites such as feeding the fish in Jaipur at the Jal Mahal, seeing the baoli (stepwel) before going to the Amber Fort, meeting the Monkey Man of Jaipur and feeding the monkeys at the spiritual temple, driving up to Nahargarh fort to see Jaipur city at sunset, a stop at the marvelous Jain temple at Ranakpur, the unexpected stop at the motorcycle temple at Rohet on our way to Jaisalmer and for a short (but we wouldn't have wanted a longer) camel ride, folk songs and dinner at Khuri. Had we not been as fatigued, due to jet lag, we would have liked to visit the elephant farm (in the Jaipur area) as he had suggested. We did not, as per his suggestion, ride the elephants up to Amber Fort in Jaipur.

Gurmeet was flexible about timely and was always concerned on how we felt. When I required lemons, or whenever we needed more water he would happily fetch it for us :)

His driving was very dependable and we always felt at ease and never felt that our safety was compromised.

He accompanied us to the Jaisalmer train station and stayed with us until it departed to make sure that we were safe and sound on the train back to Dehli.

We especially enjoyed his 5pm teas break which he shared with us. Although the spots were not exactly where we would have chosen, we enjoyed that special moment of drinking a hot "chai" :)

We recently hired Ashok's Taxi Tours for a 3 day trip from Delhi to Agra and back.

Driver Pramod was punctual in meeting us at the Delhi hotel. Besides being in the know of Delhi and Agra environs, Pramod offered us helpful tips and insights making the trip to Taj and Fatehpur Sikri a very pleasant one.

The taxi was clean and spacious and the trip a breeze!
